The work consists of removal and replacement of existing filter media (Anthracite and greensand), gravel retaining screen, gravel filter bed, up to 54 sand valves, removal of tank pressure sensor and sample taps, sealing of penetrations from removed sensor and taps, replacement pressure sensors, and surface preparation and recoating of exterior of filter vessels in three 10-foot diameter by 10.75-foot-high vertical pressure filters, and interior surface recoating in one filter.
