The Project consists of but not limited to: Installation of new addressable fire alarm systems in multiple housing developments. The work is estimated to cost $611,179.00. General bidders must be certified by DCAMM in Electrical work. Bids are subject to MGL c. 149 Section 44A - J and minimum wage rates as required by MGL c. 149 Section 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, including alternates, and made payable to the Pepperell Housing Authority. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including acceptable alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to david.mcclave@mass.gov 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE GENERAL BIDS ARE OPENED.
