FY2023 Notice of Intent to Award a Best Value Grant to the Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment in the amount of $6,720 to Barnstable County. As described in further detail below, the purpose of this grant award is to supply funding for the purchase of "consumables" for the continuation of fecal indicator bacteria (FIB) joint analysis by Barnstable County and MassDEP under the Groundwater Separation and Pathogen Removal Study to effectuate the goals and purpose of a previously-awarded EPA Science to Achieve Results (STAR) Grant entitled "Human Virus and Viral Surrogates Measures of Water Reuse Potential from Centralized and Decentralized Wastewater Treatment."
