Sealed Bids for the Replacement of VFDs at Colonial Drive Booster Station Contract No. PW-23-05, will be received at the Department of Public Works Office located at 999 Whipple Road, Tewksbury, MA 01876 until 2 p.m. local time on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at which time said Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work includes the removal and replacement of the three existing variable frequency drives VFDs at the Colonial Drive Booster Station in Tewksbury, MA. Drawings and other Contract Documents will be available after 1030 a.m. local time on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 by going to www.projectdog.com, entering Project Code 851797 in the project locator box, and following the prompts to a free downloadable bid set. Contact www.projectdog.com or call 978-499-9014 for distribution questions. No monetary deposit is required to obtain bid documents. Contract Documents may also be examined, but not obtained, at the DPW Office during the following hours 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the contractor, before bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract.
