Item Information
Item # 1:   ( 00-00  -  00 )   The Department of Public Health (DPH) will invest resources directly in the two federally recognized Native American Tribes which are The Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) and The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. Additionally, DPH will invest resources directly with the only Title V Indian Health Services contracted Urban Indian Health Program, the Native American Lifelines. All three Tribe and Tribal Serving Organizations will provide outreach and support to Native Americans who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The goal is to increase awareness of the vaccine's safety and efficacy, to reduce barriers and increase access to COVID-19 vaccinations.
