The Town of Weston is seeking quotations for a qualified consultant to consolidate and update the Rules and Regulations of the Planning Board. Project Background The Planning Board currently has six rules documents; Special Permit Rules for Flexible Subdivision (2003); Regulations for Personal Wireless Communications Facilities; Planning Board Rules and Regulations (2002); Rules and Regulations for Site Plan Approval (1991); Project Review Fees (2005); Submission Procedures for Site Plan Approval for Scenic Roads and Residential Gross Floor Area; as well as sets of Standard Conditions for projects and design guidelines. The various documents make it difficult for applicants to discern the appropriate process for their application. Project Goal The goal of the project is to create a single set of rules that covers procedures and standards for all application types and documents procedures and standards specific to different types of applications. Responses shall be submitted to the Town Planner, Imaikalani Aiu at P.O. Box 378, 11 Town House Rd, Weston, MA, 02493 or by email to aiu.i@westonmass.org by February 17th, 2021 at the close of business. The Town of Weston is exempt from sales tax, for which reason responses should not include sales tax in figuring, or in reference to any quote. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all quotes if it is deemed to be in the public interest and to award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor.
