The Town of Sudbury, Massachusetts, represented by the Town Manager, the awarding authority, invites sealed bids for BITUMINOUS MATERIALS Bidding documents, including Specifications and forms, may be obtained at the Office of the Director of Public Works, 275 Old Lancaster Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. Bids must be plainly marked BID FOR BITUMINOUS MATERIALS and must be received in a sealed envelope addressed to the Director of Public Works at the address above before 10:00 a.m. local time, Friday March 1, 2019 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of cash, certified check payable to the Town of Sudbury, bid bond from a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to the Town, or a cashiers check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the Town of Sudbury. The amount of such bid deposit shall be five (5) percent of the total bid price.
