The City of Malden is soliciting sealed bids for the purpose of adding two bronze plaques with supporting infrastructure to its World War I Memorial which will contain the names of the 2,294 Malden men and women who served in World War I, but whose names are not listed on the existing monument. The Memorial, dedicated on July 4, 1920, is located in the Edgeworth section of Malden at Devir Park on the corner of the Fellsway and Malden Street. The existing Memorial contains only 528 names of those who served.
