The Town of Weston will receive bids until 10:00 A.M., E.D.T., Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Weston Department of Public Works located at 190 Boston Post Rd By-Pass, Weston, MA 02493, for Conservation Work and Repairs at Farmer's Burial Ground and Central Cemetery. Sealed bids on bid forms provided shall be mailed or delivered with the designation "Conservation work and Repairs at Farmer's Burial Ground and Central Cemetery" on the envelope. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the time and place designated above. Notice to Bidders, Information and Instructions to Bidders, Contract, Specifications and Bid forms may be obtained online at www.weston.org/bids or at the Department of Public Works located at 190 Boston Post Rd By-Pass, Weston, Massachusetts 02493 from Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, beginning on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Contract Documents shall be made available to bidders at no charge. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid, in the form of cash, certified check, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, or a bid bond of a responsible surety company, made payable to the Town of Weston. Performance and labor and materials or payment bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required from the successful bidder. The bidder agrees that its bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids.
