Bathtub refinishing or repairing of cast iron and steel bathtubs, on an as needed basis, in state aided (DHCD) and federally funded (HUD) dwelling units located throughout the various local public housing authority locations in the city of New Bedford. Bidders may obtain one (1) complete set of Bid Documents free of charge by sending a request and contact information to james.costa@nbha-ma.org. All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount that is not less than five percent of the value of the bid. If at the advertised time scheduled for the bid opening the New Bedford Housing Authority - Procurement Office is closed due to uncontrolled events such as snow, ice, fire, wind or building evacuation, then the bid opening will be postponed until 10:00 a.m. on the next regularly scheduled business day and all bids will be accepted until that time and date.
