The City of Lawrence is seeking for qualified vendors interested in providing a complete website redesign with the goal of enhancing user experience, content management, and provides better information and customer service to its community, while meeting high standards for design quality and visual appeal. Qualified vendors should demonstrative their platform to be intuitive and easy to use by non-technical city staff for the creation of pages and content management. Customers doing business should be able to fill out online forms for basic government functions such as permitting. The preferred web design shall accommodate for easy navigation using various means including computers, tablets, and smart phones. The site shall also provide for translation capability to Spanish.
