The New Bedford Housing Authority, the awarding authority, invites sealed bids for the supply and delivery of MISCELLANEOUS MAINTENANCE MATERIALS including, but not limited to, Water Heaters, Ranges, Refrigerators, Floor Tile, Counter Tops, Kitchen Cabinets, Janitorial Supplies, Electrical Supplies, Plumbing and Heating Supplies, Paint, Hardware and more. Specifications may be obtained beginning Monday October 2, 2017 at the New Bedford Housing Authority, Office of the Procurement Agent, 128 Union Street, 4TH Floor, New Bedford, Massachusetts 02740. Bidders requesting a hard copy of the Bid Documents be mailed to them shall mail a non-refundable check in the amount of $15.00 to cover shipping costs. Bidders may otherwise obtain one (1) complete set of Bid Documents free of charge by sending a request and contact information to james.costa@newbedfordhousingauthority.org. Bids will be received at the Office of the Procurement Agent, 128 Union Street, 4TH Floor, New Bedford, Massachusetts, 02740, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday October 17, 2017 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and recorded. All bids for this supply are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c.30B section 5. Bids are also subject U.S. Dept. of H.U.D. 7460.8 REV2 and 2 CFR Part 200 sub-sections 200.317-200.326 where applicable. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certificate of Non-Collusion. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days upon opening of bids without the consent of the New Bedford Housing Authority. The New Bedford Housing Authority reserves the right to award the contract to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the best price. The NBHA will reject any and all bids when required to do so by the above referenced General Laws. In addition, the NBHA reserves the right to waive any informality in any or all bids or to reject any or all bids (in whole or in part) if it be in the public interest to do so.
