Questions have been asked pertaining to this bid. Those questions and answers are listed below.
1. How many and what colors are printed on the thermal stock?
There is one color printed on the stock. That color is red.
2. In the Appvion line there are two A400 products. Is the approved product A400-2.3 or A400-2.1?
Neither of those two grades is acceptable. Those are POS grades. We disqualified Appvion 400-3.2 grade for performance reasons. The new grade would be Appvion Alpha 600-3.2, Kanzaki 925, 850 or 462, or Ricoh 140ga.
3. Is a sample required only if you are the low bidder?
All vendors are required to ship their samples to arrive with their bids. Due to the holiday, if the sample rolls arrive on Tuesday, July 7th, that would be acceptable.
4. Does the roll have to be a production sample (printed) or simply a sample for thermal imaging testing that requires only that the roll be proper dimensions and on specified core?
The sample rolls do not need to have ink on them for testing purposes.
All other particulars remain the same.

Please note that the date for the submission of the sample thermal ticket roll stock is being extended until 5:00PM on Friday, July 17, 2015. Any sample rolls received after this date and time will not be accepted and will result in the rejection of vendor's bid. All other particulars remain the same.
