MassDOT is seeking responses from qualified individuals and/or companies to provide training classes for mini bus and van drivers under the RTAP program listed on the Martap webpage. Training classes will continue throughout the year and throughout the Commonwealth for drivers of RTA operating companies and their paratransit contractors, private, non-profit transportation agencies, recipients of Mobility Assistance Program funds and federal Sections 5310 and 5311 program funds, as well as city and town councils on aging. Drivers, both employees and volunteers, provide transportation services to a population made up predominately of transit dependent individuals, including senior citizens, low income individuals and people with disabilities.
