The Town of Burlington invites DCAM qualified General Contractors (GC) and Filed Subcontractors (FSB) to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to the Town of Burlington c/o NV5, 70 Fargo St., Ste 800, Boston MA 02210, Attn: Tim Dorman. SOQ must conform to requirements set forth in the GC and FSB RFQ and SOQ. The RFQ may be downloaded after 9:00 AM, July 10, 2019 from the Town website: www.burlington.org/businesstest/bids_and_purchasing_docs.php This required SOQ is different from DCAM cert. All GC and FSB firms must be prequalified for this project, even if the firm is DCAM certified. This RFQ is the first part of a 2 step process as provided in MGL c. 149, SS44D 1/2. Based on the SOQs received, the Town will select qualified respondents in accordance with the criteria in the RFQ. Only GC and FSB firms prequalified for the project will be permitted to submit bids. The project includes the construction of 2 pre-engineered metal buildings totaling approximately 64,000 sf, to be constructed sequentially beginning in November 2019, with a duration of 30 months. The project has an estimated construction cost of approximately $24 million. The subcontractor trades are as follows; Masonry, Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron, Waterproofing Dampproofing and Caulking, Glass and Glazing, Resilient Floors, Painting, Ceramic Tile, Acoustical Ceiling Tile, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical. The project team includes the design firm of Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc. of Foxborough MA and the Owner's Project Management firm of NV5 of Boston, MA
