TOWN OF WEST SPRINGFIELD DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS IFB #20-0007 ON-CALL SNOW HAULING (FY 2020) GENERAL INFORMATION AND BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Sealed bids will be received by the Town of West Springfield in the Department of Public Works Office until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE TIME AND DATE SPECIFIED. The Town expects to contract with multiple contractors for on-call snow hauling for FY 2020. All bids shall be sealed and addressed to: Robert Colson, Director Town of West Springfield J. Edward Christian Municipal Office Building Municipal Finance Office, Suite 26 26 Central Street West Springfield, MA 01089 All bids submitted must be "SEALED" and clearly marked on the outside face of the envelope: BID for IFB #20-0007, Snow Hauling, Bid Opening 11:00 AM, October 31, 2019. The name and address of the bidder must appear on the outside of the envelope as well as. A bid must be signed as follows: 1) if the bidder is an individual, by him/her personally; 2) if the bidder is a partnership, by the name of the partnership, followed by the signature of each general partner; and 3) if the bidder is a corporation, by the authorized officer, whose signature must be attested to by the Clerk/Secretary of the corporation and the corporate seal affixed. Questions concerning this invitation for bids must be submitted in writing to: Robert Colson, Director (rcolson@townofwestspringfield.org) before 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Questions may be delivered, mailed, emailed, or faxed. Written responses will be mailed, emailed, or faxed to all bidders on record as having picked up the IFB. The Town may cancel this IFB, or reject in whole or in part any and all bids, if the Town determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interest of the Town.
