Bulletin Desc: This state-funded competitive grant program is intended to create new partnerships between high schools in public school districts and public colleges and universities; partnerships are funded to engage in an extended, structured planning process in preparation to submit an implementation proposal for an inclusive concurrent enrollment program on campus for students with severe disabilities (as defined in Section 1 of chapter 71B of the General Laws) between the ages of 18 and 22, inclusive.

Item # 1:   ( 00-00  -  00 )   The total amount available for any grantee is subject to state appropriation. Proposals must be submitted by public colleges or universities on behalf of their respective partnerships. A total of $30,000 or more is available, subject to state appropriation. The state legislature had identified funding for this program in the Department of Higher Education (DHE); awards will come from the DHE. Subject to funding availability, up to three partnerships may be awarded up to $15,000 for either Priority One or Priority Two. Partnerships are encouraged to set aside $2,000 for mentoring, meeting facilitation, and/or technical assistance from previously funded partnerships; and, external consultation, including site visits to model programs.
