The work consists of furnishing all labor and equipment to remove and dispose of leachate from the leachate tank located in the rear of the landfill area located at 33 Medway Branch, Norfolk, MA. The leachate will be hauled to an approved MassDEP facility for disposal. It is estimated that 350,000 gallons of leachate per fiscal year will be removed from the leachate ponds. The frequency of leachate disposal will be determined by the Director of Public Works or his Designee. Additional specifications in accordance with which the work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all superintendence, labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, bailing, shoring, removal, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the work and as herein specified. The work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item.
