The Town of Rockport invites bids for On Call Water Tank Cleaning, Inspection and Chlorination Services. The service will include 5 of the Town's Water Storage Tanks. The main focus of this project is to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the interior and exterior condition of the tanks, tank cleaning, chlorination and sediment removal. These services are on-call and as needed under the direction of the Water Treatment Plant Supervisor or designee. Bid documents will be available starting October 14, 2026 8:00am by contacting the Department of Public Works via email at: dpw@rockportma.gov. Sealed bids will be received not later than October 29, 2026 11:00am at DPW Office, Town Hall, 34 Broadway, Rockport, MA 01966 where they will be opened and read aloud. The Town of Rockport reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The Town intends to award one contract for one year with two one-year options to renew based on the sole recommendations of the Town.
