In general, the Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, temporary protection, tools, and appliances necessary for the proper completion of the work as required in the Specifications, in accordance with good construction practice, and as required by the materials manufacturer, as amended. B. Supply all necessary chutes, disposal facilities, transportation, and labor necessary to dispose of all demolished materials, dirt, and debris off-site in a legal dumping area. Each Contractor and sub-contractor shall obtain all permits necessary to transport and dispose of all materials, rubbish, and debris impacted by their scope of work. C. Provide and maintain temporary protection of all building components designated to remain or new components installed throughout the duration of construction. Supply all shoring and protection necessary to protect the building areas, building systems, and landscaped areas. D. Coordinate site and building access and the scheduling and completion of all Work with the Owner. E. Remove existing asphalt shingle roofing system, underlayment, sheet metal flashing and trim down to the existing roof deck. F. Remove existing wall panels, sheet metal trim and building paper down to the plywood sheathing at the dormer locations as indicated on the Contract Drawings. G. Remove existing fiberglass panel windows at the dormer locations as indicated on the Contract Drawings. H. Remove and replace portions of plywood sheathing and decking as a Unit Price. I. Install new asphalt shingle roofing system and associated underlayment, sheet metal flashing, gutters, and downspouts. J. Install new fiber-cement panel siding with extruded aluminum trim at the dormer walls. Install associated air barrier membranes and sheet metal flashing and trim. K. Metal Window Filed Subcontractor: Install new fiberglass panel windows at the existing openings. Install associated sheet metal and membrane flashing. L. Perform unit price scope of work as indicated in Section 012200 - Unit Prices. M. Complete all associated work in accordance with these project specifications. N. Clean and restore all areas impacted by the work.
